I chose a book...

The choice of book to read in English was not so easy! When I was in the bookstore before a shelf of the fiction, my confusion lasted for twenty minutes. Which book should I give my preference? Before my eyes appeared works of English and American writers, beautiful titles and bright cover pages. In addition, there were a lot of books of Russian classics translated into a foreign language. For example, "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky. I had a great temptation to take it. However, I thought that it would be unfair to re-read the familiar lines. I think the classic should be read in its native language. Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekhov are classics for us, and for England it's the Brontes, Oscar Wilde and Charles Dickens. In my hands accidentally came the book "Great Expectations" written by Dickens. So I decided to stop on it. I can not say exactly what attracted me to this book. From the annotation, I realized not so much and a saleswoman obviously hurried home and strongly hinted at it. Well, the choice is made! Let the "Great Expectations""ll live up to my expectations for an exciting story and amazing characters!

  1. Masha, I would advice you to take some modern authors. Dickens could be difficult to read. Among the three Engleish authors you mention, the Brontes and Oscar Wilde are easier to read. Consider them first.

    Also mind your mistakes:
